It makes a fantastic cream to have on hand in the home – a medicine cupboard staple, also perfect for burns, scalds, bites, scrapes, grazes, skin tags, cradle cap and nappy rash etc etc.
It’s imperative that whilst using the Healing Cream, that you use ONLY a natural shampoo, body wash and Soap, Most shop bought products contain Sodium Lauryl Sulphate, Methylisothiazolinone, chemical Fragrance and harsh detergents. They are antiviral, anti-fungal, antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, speed healing, prevents and reduces scarring, a natural anti-depressant, relaxant, sedative as well as having soothing/calming properties. As a result, this cream can help towards healing all sorts of skin complaints without the use of steroids.
Almond Oil also has lots of great properties: it is rich in Vitamin E & D, soothes irritated skin, relieves dry and chapped skin and helps delay the ageing process.
Coconut Oil is added as it is naturally tough on bacteria and fungi, keeping your skin clean. It is luxuriously soft and is absorbed rapidly into the layers of the skin. It has an ultra-rich, buttery consistency and contains 5-10% phytosterol, which stimulates and accelerates cell renewal.
Vitamin E Oil is extremely versatile. It helps the healing process. As vitamin E is absorbed by the epidermis layer of the skin, it can be used to treat scars, acne, and wrinkles because it speeds up cell regeneration. This creates an anti-aging effect, which makes the skin look younger. It helps skin retain its natural moisture content.
Instructions for use: Apply to naturally cleansed skin (washed ONLY with natural soap free from SLS, Perfumes etc SEE Soaps Category) 2-3 daily, rubbing in very gently to the affected area.
